Box Score Henniker, N.H. New England College field hockey would open their 2016 campaign with a commanding 8-0 victory over the visiting Bay Path College Wildcats Friday afternoon.

The Pilgrims would open the scoring just 5:48 into the contest as Taylor Daileanes would tip in a feed from the end line by
Krissie Borrero. NEC would make it 2-0 in the 23rd minute as first-year Aislinn deHorsey would net her first collegiate goal tipping in pass from Borrero.
NEC would control all of the offense in the second half of play as they would put in six unanswered goals. First-year forward Aislinn deHorsey would net three in the second half finishing the game with four goals. In addition to deHorsey the Pilgrims' second half goals came from
Leah Foster and
Abigail Arsenault.

Michaela Clark picked up the shutout win in net finishing with a save.
In goal for Bay Path was Bethany Rogers who finished with an impressive 19 saves.
