New England College

Mackenzie Meegan was named the head coach of the New England College women's ice hockey team in April of 2020.Coach Meegan returned to New England College after spending four years as the Assistant Women's Ice Hockey Coach at Chatham University.

A native of Phoenix, Arizona, Meegan graduated from New England College in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology.  She had a successful playing career for the Pilgrims as a three-sport athlete in ice hockey, soccer, and lacrosse. Meegan appeared in 88 games on the ice for the 'Grims, scoring 15 goals and adding 23 assists for 38 career points. Meegan was named to the New England Hockey Conference All-Academic Team and was named the New England College Female Athlete of the year for her accomplishments both on and off the ice. She was also a member of the Health Science Club and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), serving as the secretary.

She completed her Master of Psychology degree at Chatham in 2019.
