Colorado Springs, Colo. - Senior Lauren Hall (Belfast, Maine) and junior Kennedy Overhoff (Whitefield, N.H.) of the New England College field hockey team were named to the 2026 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Watchlist on Thursday.
Hall enters her senior season after helping anchor one of the conference's top defensive units in 2025. Starting all 20 games for the Pilgrims, she played a key role in a defense that recorded 10 shutouts last season. Hall earned a spot on the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Conference Third Team a year ago and returns as a cornerstone of NEC's defensive lineup in 2026.Â
Overhoff had a strong sophomore season, starting in all 20 games for the Pilgrims, recording three goals and three assists. She earned a spot on the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) First Team a year ago and looks to make a bigger impact in the midfield for the 2026 campaign.
The NFHCA's Watchlist is intended to showcase those field hockey student-athletes with the strongest potential for consideration to the current year's NFHCA All-Region and All-American teams. The full Division III list can be found here.
