HENNIKER, N.H. - The New England College men's basketball team was recognized as a recipient of the Team Academic Excellence Award by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).
The team award recognizes men's basketball programs that exceeded a team grade-point average of 3.0 during the 2025-26 academic year. In addition to the team award, the NABC Honors Court recognizes junior, senior, and graduate student-athletes who finished the 2025-26 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
Senior Kenray Emadamerho (Manchester, N.H.) earned Honors Court recognition for a second straight year. Joining him as first time honorees were senior Stravis Lutchman (Palmetto, Fla.), senior David Skeete (Queens, N.Y.), junior Ryan Cuvier (Tewksbury, Mass.), junior Aiden MacLeod (Wilmington, Mass.), junior Shawn O'Keefe (Salem, Mass.), and junior Mike Strazzeri (Chichester, N.H.).
The NABC's academic awards are presented annually to teams and athletes from all levels of college basketball. The full list of honorees can be found here.
