HENNIKER, N.H. - The New England College men's basketball team saw their 2025-2026 season come to an end on Saturday, falling to Wentworth in non-conference action, 55-84.
The team recognized five seniors prior to the game as part of senior day, honoring seniors Kyle Dzarnowski (Boca Raton, Fla.), David Skeete (Queens, N.Y.), Stravis Lutchman (Palmetto, Fla.), Kenray Emadamerho (Manchester, N.H.), and Michael Hills (Baton Rouge, La.).
The NEC offense struggled to get things going in the first half, conceding a 44-17 lead while shooting just 21 percent after 20 minutes. Hills had four points in the half to lead the team.
Things evened out in the second half as the Leopards outscored the Pilgrims by just two points, 40-38. Both teams shot an exact 45.5 percent from the floor on 15-of-33 shooting in the second half. Junior Aiden MacLeod (Wilmington, Mass.) found some success down low with six points while leading the team with nine on the day.
Each of Hills and junior Mike Strazzeri (Chichester, N.H.) had seven points for the Pilgrims while connecting on the team's only two triples of the game in the second half. Sophomore Luke Montejo (Tewksbury, Mass.) was scoreless but had a team-high six rebounds and three assists.
In their senior day game, Emadamerho had four points, three rebounds, and two assists, while Dzarnowski chipped in two points, and Lutchman added three rebounds.
