HENNIKER, N.H. - The New England College Field Hockey team picked up their third GNAC win over Regis in a 6-0 shutout on Saturday.
It didn't take long before junior Adelaide Kelly (Rockport, Maine) wove her way through the Pride defense to score her fourth goal of the season. Almost ten minutes into the second quarter, sophomore Kira Geddes (Bow, N.H.) scored her eighth goal on the 2025 season just 40 seconds before Kelly added another one to bring the Pilgrims lead to three.
The Pilgrims closed out the first half with late goals from senior Tatum Golis (New Hartford, N.Y.) and Geddes as NEC brought a 5-0 lead into the half. Junior goalie Amy Philbin (Long Island, N.Y.) took over for senior Makenzie Anderson (Antrim, N.H.), who ended up with the win.
After a scoreless third quarter, sophomore Kennedy Overhoff (Whitefield, N.H.) scored with 45 seconds left in the game to seal the 6-0 win for the Pilgrims.
Geddes led the Pilgrims with seven shots on goal while she and Kelly each had two goals. Philbin made the save on the lone shot on goal the Pride were able to get while NEC attempted 15.
The Pilgrims travel to Plymouth State on Wednesday for a 4:00 PM start.
