HAMDEN, Conn. – The New England College baseball team fell to Albertus Magnus College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on Wednesday in Hamden, Connecticut.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Pilgrims started the scoring in the first inning as freshman catcher Jaken Pellerin (Manchester, N.H.) grounded out to shortstop to bring in graduate infielder Johnny Cannavo (Weymouth, Mass.) from third.
- The Falcons used a five-run bottom of the first to propel ahead 13-1 heading into the fifth.
- In the bottom of the fifth, graduate utilityman Bryce Worth (Southington, Conn.) singled to left field with one out. Pellerin hit a home run to bring the Pilgrims to three runs before the Falcons added one more.
