HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Trailing for much of the early game, the 'Grims went on a staggering 12-0 run from between 11:24 left in the second quarter to 11:59 remaining in the third with five of those coming off the stick of NEC junior midfielder Daniel Varga (Hampton, N.J.). Trailing 17-7, the Spartans would chip away late in the game but ran out of time.

At press time, Pfeile currently leads the Pilgrims with 16 goals through three games.
