HENNIKER, N.H. - Five student-athletes from the New England College men's and women's basketball programs have been named to the 2024-2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District teams, as announced by the CSC this past week.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The women's basketball team had four student-athletes receive recognition including two two-time honorees. Juniors
Macy Gordon (Boscawen, N.H.) and
Mackenzie McDonald (Boscawen, N.H.) both earned a spot on the Academic All-District teams for the second consecutive year. Joining Gordon and McDonald were a pair of newcomers in junior
Ajayah Lively (Victorville, Calif.) and sophomore
Bailey Burke (New Bedford, Mass.). On the men's side, junior
Kenray Emadamerho (Manchester, N.H.) earned a spot on the Men's Academic All-District team as a first-time recipient.
The College Sports Communicators – formerly CoSIDA – have recognized outstanding academics among student-athletes since 1952.
