NEC Athletic Training Room Adds Nicole Tocci as Assistant Athletic Trainer

HENNIKER, N.H. - The New England College Department of Athletics and Athletic Training Room has announced the addition of Nicole Tocci to the Pilgrims staff as an Assistant Athletic Trainer.

Tocci comes to New England College by way of Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in 2025 before earning her Masters of Athletic Training degree in 2026.

Nicole recently completed her clinical experience at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire. Last Summer, she spent time at both Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and Rehab Works at Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida. Tocci brings additional experience from Pingree High School in South Hamilton, Massachusetts as well as a medical volunteer at the 2025 Boston Marathon.

"As soon as I had my first call with Heather, she was beyond nice and friendly, and once I stepped on campus and met the rest of the coaches and staff, I just knew it would be a great environment to learn, grow, and build new relationships," said Tocci. "I am very excited to start my career as a young clinician at NEC!"

The Merrimac, Massachusetts-native is set to join the NEC training staff in August ahead of the 2026-27 school year, bringing the Sports Medicine team up to six full-time trainers. Tocci is set to primarily cover football, men's and women's wrestling, and men's lacrosse.
