PORTLAND, Maine - The New England College Men's Golf team finished sixth out of eleven teams in the USM Husky Classic hosted by the University of Southern Maine in Portland, Maine. 

Freshman Emil Elias (Ekerö, Sweden) led the Pilgrims with a final score of +2 after birdieing four of the first five holes to place ninth overall. 

Senior Graham Hassan (Pinckney, Mich.) finished the day with a +6 after scoring a birdie on hole 14. 

After a birdie on holes one and four, sophomore Vesse-Wincent Lampen (Espoo, Finland) finished with a +10 for the day. 

Sophomore Dalton Gordon (Boscawen, N.H.) also finished with a +10 after birdieing holes four and 15. 

Freshman Shane Helman (Parma, Ohio) birdied hole 14 to finish with a +13.
