HOW IT HAPPENED

Nearly 18 minutes later, USM would strike again; Freshman forward Ellie Eigner (Bowling Green, Ohio) took advantage of a powerplay opportunity and scored the team's second goal of the game.

An assist was also credited to sophomore defender Gabrielle Iwinski (Batavia, Ill.).
