NEW LONDON, N.H. – The New England College field hockey team lost 2-1 at Colby-Sawyer College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on Wednesday evening at Sally Shaw Veitch Track & Field in New London, New Hampshire.

HOW IT HAPPENED
	- Trailing 1-0 in the closing minutes, the 'Grims tied it up with 3:04 to go in regulation when junior midfielder Meaghan McCamish (Warwick, R.I.), one of the breakout stars of this year's team, scored her third goal in her last four games, sending the game into overtime. But 53 seconds into the extra period, Colby-Sawyer first year defender Aili Carney (Derry, N.H.) ended the game with her second goal of the season, giving the win to the Chargers.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
	- NEC sophomore goalkeeper Makenzie Anderson (Antrim, N.H.) tallied three saves in net for the Pilgrims.
- Colby-Sawyer goalie Carly Bernard (Swanze, N.H.) was a force for the Chargers with five saves.
- NEC graduate forward Drea Chin (Laconia, N.H.) finished with a team-high three shots.
- Colby-Sawyer sophomore forward Taylor Gaudette (North Conway, N.H.) finished with a goal and an assist for the home team.
- The Chargers outshot the Pilgrims, 14-10.
