HENNIKER, N.H. – The New England College women's volleyball team set a program record with 34 service aces in their three-set sweep against visiting Vermont State Lyndon on Tuesday evening at Bridges Gymnasium in Henniker, New Hampshire.

SERVING UP ACES
- The 'Grims set the tone early on in the first set when NEC junior outside hitter Savannah Pilialoha (Waipahu, Hawaii) took the ball up 5-1 and reeled off seven consecutive service aces to give her team a commanding lead. Pilialoha finished with eight aces on the night with four kills as the Pilgrims never looked back.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- NEC sophomore setter Alison Hays (Centerville, Ohio) posted eight aces with eight set assists.
- NEC sophomore middle-blocker Kaylee Montgomery (Weare, N.H.) had her best match as a 'Grim with a team-high five kills and three aces.
- NEC freshman defensive specialist Lily Cunanan (Woonsocket, R.I.) posted a match-high six digs with four aces in her best collegiate outing thus far for the rookie.
- Lyndon sophomore middle-hitter Kiara Mack (Winooski, Vt.) led the Hornets with three kills.
