HOW IT HAPPENED
- New England College got the scoring started, 10:03 into the first quarter, on a goal by junior midfielder Meaghan McCamish (Warwick, R.I.), assisted by freshman midfielder Neila Jones (Rowley, Mass.).
- Plymouth State would go on to score four unanswered goals the rest of the way, with contributions coming from senior forward Mackenzie Labrie (Canaan, N.H.), senior forward Taylor Healey (Campton, N.H.), and two goals by senior midfielder Athena Comeau (Rutland, Mass.).
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- NEC sophomore goalkeeper Makenzie Anderson (Antrim, N.H.) secured 12 saves for the 'Grims.
- Panthers' senior goalkeeper Kayla Antonucci (Windham, N.H.) stopped 10 shots in the win.
