SUTTON, N.H. – In just their third year of existence, the New England College men's golf team hosted the Second Annual NEC Invitational on Sunday afternoon at the Country Club of New Hampshire in Sutton, coming in first place with a total score of 307, competing against teams from the Wentworth Institute of Technology (WIT), the Massachusetts College of the Liberal Arts (MCLA) and Keene State College (KSC).
TOP 'GRIMS
- NEC sophomore Graham Hassan (Pinckney, Mich.), last year's Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Rookie of the Year, continued to build on his outstanding collegiate career, claiming the day's medal with a two under-par.
- NEC junior Timothy Carlson (Albany, N.Y.) came in third place overall with a one-over-par on the day.
- NEC sophomore Kaleb O'Connor (Rochester, N.H.) finished tied for fourth with a five-over.
TEAM RESULTS
- MCLA came in second place with a score of 312, while Keene State was third at 336 and Wentworth was fourth with a 341.
