MANSFIELD, Conn. – The New England College baseball team lost 12-2 at Eastern Connecticut State University in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon at the Eastern Baseball Stadium in Mansfield, Connecticut.

- NEC struck first in the top of the first as junior first baseman Brett Patnode (Weare, N.H.) doubled to left to plate senior centerfielder Patrick Hagerty (Stoughton, Mass.) as the 'Grims went up 1-0.
- In the top of the eighth, senior designated hitter Tyler Gendron (Milford, N.H.) hit an RBI double to left to drive in Patnode.
- NEC senior starting pitcher Tim Krol (East Longmeadow, Mass.) went four innings for the Pilgrims, striking out six Warriors.
