Records:               Pilgrims 2-5-1 | Mules 1-1-1

HOW IT HAPPENED

At press time, Novotny and Waldhauser were tied for the Pilgrims' lead for points on the season.
  • NEC senior goaltender Kai Tomita (Misawa, Japan) picked up his first career shutout victory, tallying 25 saves between the pipes.
  • Colby senior goaltender Andy Beran (St. Paul, Minn.) finished with 13 saves for the Mules.
