SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The New England College men's ice hockey team was held scoreless in a 0-2 loss at Skidmore on Saturday in Saratoga Springs, New York in New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) action.

- The Thoroughbreds secured the victory behind a pair of second period goals by senior Everett Wardle (Hewlett, N.Y.) and then Kevin Urquhart (Burlington, Mass.), with the former's being of the power-play variety.
- NEC sophomore goaltender Danny Miscavish (Macomb, Mich.) made 27 saves in his third start of the year for the 'Grims.
- Skidmore goaltender Tate Brandon (Irvington, N.Y.) tallied 23 saves in the senior's third shutout of the season.
- Thoroughbreds junior Danny Magnuson (Sunfish Lake, Minn.) paced all players with five shots taken, while Pilgrims junior forward Wyatt Andres (Brainerd, Minn.) led the game with four blocked shots.
- Skidmore outshot NEC 29 to 23 in total shots on goal.
- The two teams were nearly even in faceoffs won with Skidmore earning the slight edge, 26-24.
