HENNIKER, N.H. – The New England College men's soccer team gets a much deserving win against visiting Regis College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on Wednesday afternoon at Don Melander Field in Henniker, New Hampshire.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- NEC came into the game with a motive to win as sophomore midfielder Wyatt Flibbert (Windham, Maine) scored his first goal of the season off a corner kick from junior defenseman Darren Mota (Inverness, Scotland) at the 11' mark to put the 'Grims up 1-0.
- Within under a minute, NEC banked in another goal, this time from senior forward Logan Cassin (Penacook, N.H.) with a turnaround kick with Mota again with the assist. Cassin scored again on a 1-on-1 situation at the 23' mark with an assist from junior midfielder William Scala (Manchester, N.H.).
- Regis' only goal came in late at the 78' mark where first-year midfielder Cade Bretton (Burlington, VT) chipped in a goal off a rebound in what was initially a free kick inside the circle.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- 'Grims junior goalkeeper Hayden Walker (Manchester, N.H.) had the majority of the opponents' shots fly past his range but ended up tallying four saves.
- Pride sophomore goalkeeper Ethan Donahue had a bit more activity and ended up with six saves.
- NEC outshot Regis 18-12 in the conference game.
- Both teams tallied a total of four corner kicks.
- The 'Grims were handed two yellow cards late in the second half with the game out of reach for the Pride.
