PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The New England College women's soccer team went up against competitors in the Wildcats of Johnson & Wales University from Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex which didn't go in the Pilgrims favor.

- The Pilgrims are second team in the conference to score a goal on the Wildcats thus far this season.
- NEC Sophomore goalkeeper Stephanie Bronowicki (Corona, Calif.) finished with eight saves at the pitch.
- JWU sophomore forward Lauren Moriarity (Narragansett, R.I) lead the team in goals scored with three. Senior defender Madison Sandborn (Wilbraham, Mass.), Senior midfielder Sammie Strong (Whethersfield, Conn.), junior midfielder Angelina Oliveira (Naugatuck, Conn.), freshman midfielder Gracie Kauffman (East Greenwich, R.I.), and junior defender Katherine Dufour (Middletown, R.I.) wrapped the afternoon up with a goal respectively. Freshman midfielder Sophia Warburton (Norfolk, Va.) gathered the most assists having two while freshman forward Lulani Haslinger (Groton, N.Y.), Strong, Sophia Iovino sophomore midfielder (Hillsborough, N.J.), and junior midfielder Skyla Landry (Coventry, R.I.) all had an assist each.
- The lone goal for the Pilgrims came from forward Brianna Deslandes (Westfield, Vt.) at the 68:49 minute mark.
