LEXINGTON, Mass. – The New England College women's soccer team saw their 2022 season come to a conclusion on Sunday with a 2-0 loss at Lesley University in the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) championship finals at Minuteman High School in Lexington, Massachusetts in action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A gritty performance by NEC freshman goalkeeper Stephanie Bronowicki (Corona, Calif.) and the 'Grim defense kept the game scoreless headed into the 57th minute. Lesley junior Haile Carrillo- Hayes (Chatsworth, Calif.) finally broke the stalemate, and sophomore forward Abby Kalou (Chicago, Ill.) added the insurance goal in the 78th minute.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Bronowicki, the NECC Rookie of the Year, capped off an impressive season with 12 saves on the day.
- The Lynx outshot the Pilgrims, 29-1
- Bronowicki, sophomore midfielder Darian Taylor (Hudson, N.H.), senior defender Reese Hultgren(Charlton, Mass.), and freshman midfielder Briana Lopes (East Providence, R.I.) were all named to the NECC All-Tournament team.
