HENNIKER, N.H. – Senior forward Drea Chin (Laconia, N.H.) scored three goals as the New England College field hockey team won 6-0 over visiting University of Maine at Farmington on Saturday afternoon at Don Melander Field in Henniker, New Hampshire in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Chin's goals came in the 11th, 44th and 50th minutes. Her score just 10:02 into the game was the first goal of the game and proved to be the eventual game-winner. At press time, Chin has a team-best nine goals to lead the Pilgrims. It was the fourth career hat trick for the 2021 National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Region selection.
- NEC senior midfielder Mikayla Vincent (Newburyport, Mass.) scored her eighth goal of the season, that coming in the 26th minute.
- NEC freshman forward Martina Hill (Abbot, Maine) continued her standout season, assisting on two goals on the day.
- NEC junior midfielder Annalisa Crooks (Nantucket, Mass.) and sophomore forward Kacie Weston (Henniker, N.H.) both added goals for the Pilgrims.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- NEC freshman goalkeeper Makenzie Anderson (Antrim, N.H.) played three quarters of shutout ball in net for the Pilgrims.
- UMF sophomore goalkeeper Alicia Bridges (Livermore Falls, Maine) had 14 saves for the Beavers.
- The Pilgrims outshot the Beavers, 35-1.
- NEC is 6-7-1 all-time against Maine-Farmington.
