Connor Almstrom, Men’s Lacrosse

Almstrom has been a wall for the Pilgrims this season, tallying 158 saves through nine games and earning New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Defensive Player of the Week honors six consecutive times to open the season. At press time, the second-year netminder ranks in the top five in the entire nation in saves per game at 17.56.

“Connor has been consistent and reliable all season long.” Head coach Jedd Brown said of Almstrom. “He's had a huge role in our ability to stay in games and a great leader on and off the field. His work ethic and passion for the game is undeniable.”
