New England College

Amy Girard completed her ninth season as an assistant coach for the women’s basketball team.

A graduate of New England College, Girard earned her Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology in 2005.  While at NEC Girard was a two-sport athlete playing both basketball and softball.  Girard earned several accolades both on the court and on the diamond being named NEC Female Defensive Player of the Year once and was the women’s basketball and softball coaches’ award recipient in both basketball and softball. 

Girard earned her Master’s in Education in 2010 from New England College.  In addition to her coaching duties, Girard is a full-time elementary physical education teacher at the Henniker Community School.
