Jedd Brown was named the head coach of the NEC men's lacrosse team in 2013. Coach Brown has won 106 games at New England College in his career while leading the Pilgrims to an abundance of postseason success. He has led the Pilgrims to six NCAA tournament appearances, including four straight berths from 2016 to 2019, and eight conference championships. His teams were also crowned NECC Champions in both 2022 and 2023. Brown has been named the Conference Coach of the Year four times in his career.
Coach Brown has dominated conference play in his tenure at New England College, compiling a 54-13 record against conference opponents. His nine postseason appearances are the most in program history. The 'Grims won four consecutive NAC Championships beginning in 2016 under Brown, and, in 2018 and 2019, the Pilgrims claimed their first two NCAA Tournament wins over Albion and Norwich, respectively. The team's 16 wins in 2018 tied a program record. In his time at NEC, Brown has coached five Conference Players of the Year, six Conference Defensive Players of the Year, four Conference Rookies of the Year, and 63 All-Conference players.
Brown joined New England College after serving six seasons as the assistant coach at the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine.  While at UNE he helped lead the Nor’easters to two consecutive ECAC New England Championship appearances. Brown’s main responsibilities while at UNE included serving as a defensive coordinator, as well as coaching the face-off development and man-down defense.
Brown earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from Western New England University, where he was a three-year starter for the Golden Bear lacrosse team, earning all-conference honors as a defender twice and serving as a team captain his senior season.
