Ryan Gendron enters his third season as an assistant baseball coach at New England College.

Gendron recently finished his playing career at Southern New Hampshire University prior to spending two years at UMass-Lowell.  Gendron had a successful career for the Penmen, including setting the single-season home run record with twelve.  During his senior season, the quad-captain, led the team in home runs and stolen bases while only committing one error in 86 chances.  He was named NE-10 Second Team All-Conference and named to the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. II East All-Region Second Team. 

Gendron also played three summer seasons in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League, one season with the Nashua Silver Knights and two with the Seacoast Mavericks.  In the 2015 season, Gendron was named the FCBL Most Valuable Player hitting .324 with 22 home runs and driving in 53, while slugging .758.  During that season Gendron broke the homerun, runs batted in, and slugging single-season records.   

The two-time Capital One Academic All-American completed his Bachelor’s in Business Administration and held Dean’s/President’s List honors in all of his collegiate semesters.  Gendron received his MBA in marketing in the spring of 17.
