NEC Athletics Earns 3.34 GPA for Fall 2025

HENNIKER, N.H. - Another academic term has come and gone here in Henniker, New Hampshire, and New England College Athletics posted another strong departmental showing with a 3.34 GPA for the Fall of 2025. 

This Fall, 232 student-athletes (54% of the college's student-athlete population) recorded a 3.5 grade-point average or higher on a 4.0 scale. 88 student-athletes achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA, a mark that is up from last Fall when that total sat at 63 student-athletes. Men's ice hockey led all teams with 20 student-athletes having a 4.0 and 32 student-athletes exceeding a 3.5 GPA. 

22 athletic programs achieved a 3.0 or better, up from 19 last Spring. 11 of those 22 teams exceeded a 3.5 team GPA, up from seven last year. Leading the way, women's alpine skiing and men's ice hockey both posted a 3.76 team GPA. Men's golf followed close behind with a 3.67 while softball produced a 3.64. Rounding out the top five, women's volleyball, women's ice hockey, and women's lacrosse each had a 3.62 for the Fall semester.
