HENNIKER, N.H. - Eight members of the New England College football team were named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, announced by the CSC on Tuesday.
In the team's official return to the gridiron, the Pilgrims landed eight student-athletes on the Academic All-District Team in their first season back.
Juniors Icean Taylor (Manchester, N.H.) and Aidan McDonald (Salem, N.H.), both of whom are set to graduate in May, made up the two-headed backfield for the 'Grims this season and both earned the All-Academic nod. Joining them was backfield mate, sophomore quarterback Lukas Köttstorfer (Bruckmühl, Germany).
Also first-time recipients, receiver/returner sophomore Gavin Auger (Derry, N.H.) and sophomore tight end Austin Normandin (Gilford, N.H.) earned their way onto the team. On the offensive line, sophomore Connor Burson (Townsend, Mass.) and sophomore Sebastian Coppola (Essex, Vt.) were honored while sophomore Dylan Roy (Windham, N.H.) represented the NEC defense on the Academic All-District Team.
