HENNIKER, N.H. – The New England College women's lacrosse team came up short in their season finale against visiting Colby-Sawyer College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on Wednesday at Don Melander Field in Henniker, New Hampshire.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Chargers got the scoring started from sophomore Rose Finlayson (Hopkinton, N.H.) as she netted her 34th goal of the season. The Pilgrims answered back with two quick goals from junior attacker Mackenzie McDonald (Boscawen, N.H.) and sophomore midfielder Carmela Goodwin (Lebanon, N.H.).

Colby-Sawyer scored seven straight before junior attacker Meadow Gilchrist (Stamford, Conn.) scored her 48th goal of the season off a pass from graduate midfielder Annalisa Crooks (Nantucket, Mass.). Gilchrist added one more as the Chargers kept the game out of reach to close out the thirteen-goal win.
