HENNIKER, N.H. - Junior Camryn Lewis (Taunton, Mass.) of the New England College women's basketball team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week for the week ending on December 14th.
Lewis helped lead her team to a 3-0 week, with wins over VTSU Lyndon on Tuesday, VTSU Johnson on Thursday, and former GNAC foe Anna Maria on Saturday. Across the three games, the junior averaged 11.0 points, 13.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. The Taunton, Massachusetts native continues to be a force all around, averaging 12.4 points per game and 11.3 rebounds per game and has recorded a career best six double-doubles so far this season.
The Pilgrims currently sit tied for the longest winning streak since the 2018-19 season, carrying an 8-3 record into the winter break. The 'Grims return to action after the New Year as they host non-conference opponent Fitchburg State University on January 3rd with a 1:00 PM start.
