HENNIKER, N.H. - The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced the All-Conference selections for the 2025 women's volleyball season on Tuesday afternoon, with New England College junior Tyra Kelly (Fresno, Calif.) earning an All-Conference Third Team selection.
Kelly had a strong first season in Henniker, leading the team in both kills (176) and blocks (71) while playing in all 29 matches with 28 starts. She also paced the Pilgrims with a .220 hitting percentage. The middle-blocker recorded season-highs of 12 kills on 10/11 (Elms), and five blocks on 9/23 (Southern Maine) and 10/11 (Elms).
The junior-transfer was a force at the net, ranking first in the GNAC in solo blocks, fourth in total blocks, and fifth in blocks per set. Her 31 solo blocks are the third highest single-season total in program history, while her 71 total blocks also rank third. With 0.74 blocks per set, she sits second in program history.
Tyra set a new career-high with 96 sets played this season and added 38 digs, six assists, and one service ace on top of her team-leading 228.0 points.
Sophomore LisaRaye Placencio (Maricopa, Ariz.) was named to the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
