KEENE, N.H. - The New England College Women's Basketball Team fell to the Keene State College Owls in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday in a 97-59 final. 

The Owls jumped out to an 8-2 lead before junior Camryn Lewis (Taunton, Mass.) made two jumpers to cut the lead to two. Keene State took a 14-11 run to close the first quarter up 22-17. 

After starting the second quarter on a 10-2 run, Lewis added five more points to make it a six-point game before the Owls brought a 50-32 lead into the half. After only giving up ten points in the third quarter, Keene State added 29 points in the final frame to close out the 38-point win. 

Lewis led the Pilgrims with 20 points and tied with senior Ajayah Lively (Victorville, Calif.) for team-leading nine rebounds apiece. Junior Jayden Estrada (La Mirada, Calif.) led the Pilgrims with five assists in the loss. 

Women's Basketball is back in action on Thursday as they host the Curry College Colonels at 5:00 PM in Bridges Gym.
