HENNIKER, N.H. – Twenty-four players from the New England College women's and men's ice hockey teams were named 2023-2024 American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) Krampade All-American Scholars in an announcement by the association this week.

Eleven student-athletes from the NEC women's team were recognized, a list that included: Samantha Babbitt (Woodstock, Vt.), Jessica Dutkus (Stafford, Va.), Meadow Gilchrist (Stamford, Conn.), Alexis Hornsby (Atkinson, N.H.), Conley Ladabouche (Barre, Vt.), Olivia Lindberg (Stockholm, Sweden), Malin Ohlsson (Hollviken, Sweden), Hannah Podvey (West Caldwell, N.J.), Jordan Pond (Gardner, Mass.), Becca Pouliot (Berlin, N.H.) and Kata Thomas (Warrenton, Va.)

NEC men's hockey had thirteen players named to the team, with Tim Lopez (Fort Collins, Colo.), David Novotny (Boca Raton, Fla.), Connor Lefkof (Frisco, Texas), Jesper Tarkiainen (Naperville, Ill.), Kam Hellman (Macomb, Mich.), Graham Padgitt (St. Charles, Ill.), Shane Adler (Dallas, Tex.), Dylan Duckson (Mahtomedi, Minn.), Jack Herron (Lake in the Hills, Ill.), Cam Perez (West Hartford, Conn.), Christophe Petit (Chelsea, Quebec), Gunnar Sibley (Monticello, Minn.) and Paul Waldhauser (Klagenfurt, Austria) all standing for the Pilgrims.

To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA for each semester and had to appear in 40% of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders. Schools also were required to be members of the AHCA.
