HENNIKER, N.H. – Thirty-one players from the New England College women's and men's ice hockey teams were named to the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) Academic All-Conference team in an announcement by the conference on Wednesday.

Seventeen student-athletes from the NEC women's team were selected, a list that included: Hannah Podvey (West Caldwell, N.J.), Mikayla Vincent (Newburyport, Mass.), Sean D'Urso (Andover, Mass.), Becca Pouliot (Berlin, N.H.), Jessica Dutkus (Stafford, Va.), Kata Thomas (Warrenton, Va.), Mary High (Plymouth, Mass.), AK Fuentes (Aspen, Colo.), Malin Ohlsson (Hollviken, Sweden), Amy Donnelly (Taunton, Mass.), Gabrielle Iwinski (Batavia, Ill.), Gina Sciortino (Billerica, Mass.), Isabella Marzano (Warwick, R.I.), Jordan Pond (Gardner, Mass.), Kate Devlin (Walpole, Mass.), Meadow Gilchrist (Stamford, Conn.) and Olivia Lindberg (Stockholm, Sweden).

The NEC men's ice hockey team had fourteen players recognized, with Jhuwon Davis (Detroit, Mich.), Timothy Lopez   (Fort Collins, Colo.), Connor Lefkof (Frisco, Texas), David Novotny (Boca Raton, Fla.), Jesper Tarkiainen (Naperville, Ill.), Ike Taraszewski (Wayzata, Minn.), Mattias Thorén (Stockholm, Sweden), Joey Olsen (Mansfield, Mass.), Kai Tomita (Misawa, Japan), Zach Nelson (Hudson, Mass.), Graham Hassan (Howell, Mich.), Graham Padgitt (St. Charles, Ill.), Hunter Meyer (Anchorage, Ala.) and Kam Hellman (Macomb, Mich.) all making the cut.

To be eligible for NEHC All-Academic recognition a student must carry a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA and have completed one full year at their current institution by the beginning of the hockey season. Student-athletes that were freshmen or first-year transfers during the 2023-24 season were not eligible.
