WESTON, Mass. – The New England College women's basketball team won their third Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) game in their last four tries with a 58-52 victory at Regis College on Tuesday evening at Higgins Court in Weston, Massachusetts.

TURNING POINTS
- Trailing for most of the game, the Pride pulled to within five off a layup from Regis sophomore forward Madi Zancan (Cumberland, R.I.) with thirty seconds left and the score 56-51. But the 'Grims went two-for-four from the line in the closing seconds, which proved to be enough to ice it.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- NEC senior center Kathleen Rodriguez (McFarland, Calif.) once again dominated the post, shooting eight-of-eleven from the floor for 18 points while pulling down nine rebounds. At press time, Rodriguez led the GNAC in shooting at 64.2 percent.
- Zancan led all scorers with 20 points and nine rebounds.
- NEC senior guard Juliana Hernandez (McFarland, Calif.) contributed ten points with six boards and two steals.
- Regis sophomore forward Jordyn Striggles (Raynham, Mass.) added ten points and five rebounds.
- NEC sophomore guard Makiah Scott (Washington, D.C.) added six points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals.
- The 'Grims enjoyed a 14-6 edge in bench scoring.
