NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - The England College Women's Volleyball team dropped their non-conference match to the Trailblazers of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in four sets from Amsler Campus Center Gym.

NEC won their best set of the season thus far in a 27-25 thriller in the third that forced the match to go into a fourth set. With the help of Senior middle blocker Tatiana Sampson (Kailua, Hawaii) and Sophomore outside hitter Lily-Anne Heywood (Derry, N.H.) both recorded three kills, respectively. The Trailblazers took advantage of the momentum gained throughout the entirety of the match to be able to push forward for a victory in this matchup.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Pilgrims sophomore defensive specialist Krissy Cardello (Peabody, MA) gathered the team high in digs with 15.
- The all-player highs in both kills and digs goes to the Trailblazers junior right side hitter Chloie Garber (Eagle River, AK) having 14 and sophomore outside hitter Elizabeth Brown (Lee, MA) gathering 22.
- NEC freshman setter Alexandra Seijas (Fort Meyer, Fla.) filled her stat line with 12 assists and seven digs.
- Sampson and senior outside hitter Renee McBride-Rogers (Midwest City, Okla.) both tallied eight kills.
