PLYMOUTH, NH- The New England College men's soccer team went up against formidable opponents in the Panthers of Plymouth State University with the score concluding in a 1-1 draw from Arold Field in Plymouth, New Hampshire.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the first half of action the Panthers had the Pilgrims in a bind as they controlled the majority of the possessions that took place in the first half as Plymouth fired off 13 shots to NEC's one taken.
- Plymouth State used the momentum they have obtained by finding the back of net at the 23:00 minute mark with the goal coming from junior midfielder Sondre Asheim (Klepp, Norway).
- As the second half of play commenced the Pilgrims wasted no time getting situated in this one as they scored within the first 8:28 of play at 53:28 from graduate midfielder Cooper Ribaudo (Salem, N.H.)
- From that point on, the game concluded in a draw with the final score resulting in 1-1.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Junior goalkeeper Hayden Walker (Manchester, N.H.) gathered 10 saves at the pitch to wrap up his evening.
- Cooper finished with the lone goal for the Pilgrims along with an assist that came from junior forward Brian Lam (Manchester, Vt.).
- Plymouth State's Asheim recorded a goal for the Panthers that got the evening's action started.
