PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The New England College men's ice hockey team lost 4-1 at Plymouth State University on Friday evening at PSU Ice Arena in Plymouth, New Hampshire in non-conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Pilgrims got on the board first on a power play with 4:49 to go in the first period when NEC freshman center Paul Waldhauser (Klagenfurt, Austria) scored his third goal of the season with assists to sophomore forward Lukas Washco (Darby, Penn.) and freshman forward Tyler Love (San Ramon, Calif.), leading 1-0 after one.
- The Panthers would answer, however, scoring two goals in the second and a third in the final frame to take a 3-1 lead. A fourth goal came on an empty-netter in the closing seconds.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- NEC senior goaltender Kai Tomita (Misawa, Japan) finished with 34 saves on the night.
- Plymouth State senior goaltender Kalle Andersson (Stockholm, Sweden) finished with 20 stops on the night.
- The Panthers saw goals from senior Carson Lanceleve (Stewiacke, N.S.), sophomore Will Redick (Collingwood, Ont.), freshman Andrew Stuckless (Conception Bay South, N.L.) and freshman Will Pray (Wheaton, Ill.).
