NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The New England College women's volleyball team swept Norwich University in three sets in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on Wednesday evening in Northfield, Vermont.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After the 'Grims easily took the first two sets, the third set was a battle that saw the Cadets climb back into it time and time again. NEC sophomore setter Aurora Gutierrez-Macias (El Paso, Tex.) finally put it away with a service ace off match set, and the Pilgrims took it down.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- NEC junior outside hitter Savannah Pilialoha (Waipahu, Hawaii) led the Pilgrims with nine kills and four digs.
- Norwich junior middle-blocker Abby Kanaga (Apopka, Fla.) led the Cadets with six kills and three total blocks.
- NEC sophomore outside hitter Lily-Anne Heywood (Derry, N.H.) tallied seven kills and ten digs.
- NEC sophomore libero Krissy Cardello (Peabody, Mass.) led the defense with 17 digs.
