WEST HARTFORD, CT- The New College men's soccer team competed in conference play against the Blue Jays of the University of Saint Joseph falling, 4-0 from the USJ Soccer Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- USJ got themselves in the game quick scoring in the first 7:40 of the first half coming from senior midfielder Juan Torres (Hartford, Conn.)
- NEC's defense stood tall for the remainder of the half allowing nothing going into the half.
- Once the second half commenced the Blue Jays had other plans making their presence known scoring three goals that solidified the win concluding the contest, 4-0.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- USJ let off the number of shots with 27 to Pilgrims 10 on the evening.
- Senior forward Logan Cassin (Penacook, N.H.) led NEC in shots with three and one that found its mark on goal.
- Junior goalkeeper Hayden Walker (Manchester, N.H.) finished his outing with seven saves at the pitch.
- Senior forward Dane Stephens (Linstead, Jamica) scored two goals, graduate midfielder Michael Torres (Hartford, Conn.), Torres and freshman midfielder Matthew Dima (Oxford, Conn.) had one goal and an assist respectively.
