NEC and ENC Draw in Regular Season Finale

HENNIKER, N.H. - The New England College men's soccer team finished their regular season with a scoreless-draw against Eastern Nazarene Saturday afternoon at Don Melander Field in conference action. 
 

THE BASICS 
Score:           Eastern Nazarene College 0, New England College 0 
Record:         Lions (6-6-5, 5-0-1), Pilgrims (8-7-2, 4-1-1) 
 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • Eastern Nazarene would start the contest early with a shot on goal in the first minute, but sophomore Hayden Walker (Manchester, N.H.) would save the shot. The remainder of the match would be back and forth with both sides contesting for the ball, taking shots, and not finding the back of the net. 
     

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Lions would outshoot the 'Grims 19-15. 

  • Walker would record 5 saves in the contest.
