Kathleeen Rodriguez, Women’s Basketball

Rodriguez, a junior-transfer forward from McFarlane, California, capped off an outstanding first season with the ‘Grims, scoring 22 points with 15 rebounds and two steals in NEC’s New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) semifinal game at Eastern Nazarene College. Rodriguez was named to the NECC All-Tournament team for her performance. For the season, Rodriguez averaged 10.8 points and 9.3 rebounds per game while setting the school record in field goal percentage (63.0 percent), a mark that currently ranks her second in the nation.

“Kathy has been a wonderfully addition to our women’s basketball program.” Coach Ledy said of her standout forward. “Not only is she one of the best “bigs” on the court, she is a great teammate. We are lucky to have her here at NEC!”
