HENNIKER, N.H. - New England College junior attacker Meadow Gilchrist (Stamford, Conn.) of the NEC women’s lacrosse team has been named the Female Pilgrim of the Month for March of 2025 in an announcement by the Department of Athletics on Tuesday.
Gilchrist has totaled 31 goals and 11 assists for a team-high 42 points this month, netting a hat trick in six of her eight games played in March. Meadow scored a career-high seven goals against UMaine-Farmington on March 4
th and has scored at least five goals in a game three times this season – in which games NEC is 3-0. The junior added 30 draw controls, 6 ground balls, 3 caused turnovers.
Gilchrist sits sixth in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) in goals, tied for 10
th in assists, and tied for 7
th in total points. Gilchrist has helped lead the ‘Grims to a 3-1 start in conference play, racking up wins over Albertus Magnus, Anna Maria, and Saint Joseph (CT). The victory over Anna Maria has the Pilgrims at 1-0 in the North Division.
