Thea Joerö, Women’s Ice Hockey

Sophomore goalie Thea Joerö (Uppsala, Sweden) went 2-1 in net for the ‘Grims in December, totaling 93 saves with a .912 save percentage. Joerö was at her best against the Cougars of Chatham University on December 9^th, stopping 36 of 38 shots to give NEC a 5-2 victory, their fourth win of the year. It is the first time the ‘Grims have reached the four-win threshold since the 2016-2017 season.
